Lowell Journal, 21 Apr 1904

George W. Lind was born at Yankee Springs, Barry county, Mich., June 7, 1847.  
 At the age of two years he moved with his parents to a farm in Bowne where he
resided until he was 41 years old.  Since that time he has lived in Keene and
Boston townships.  March 30, 1869 he married Kate D. McEwen of Bowne.  To them
six children were born, three sons and three daughters.  About three years ago
Mr. Lind was stricken with heart trouble and since that time has been a patient
and constant sufferer.  He passed this life Monday, April 11, 1904, survived by
a wife, six children and many relatives and friends.  The funeral was held from
the home in Boston, April 13.  Interment in South Boston cemetery, services
conducted by Rev. J. B. Westbrook.
