Ionia County News - Thursday, Nov. 9, 1944

William Lind, age 102, died at the Ionia county infirmary Monday afternoon of 
the infirmities of old age. He had been failing for several months but was in 
only about a week. 

Mr. Lind was born in Michigan July 25, 1841. He came to Ionia about 25 years 
ago, from Montcalm county, and for about ten years lived on E. Washington St. 

He is survived by a son, Robert Lind of Fenwick, and a daughter, Mrs. Emma 
Eittleman, of Baseline. Funeral will be held from Clear Lake church in Montcalm 
county, Thursday afternoon. Burial will be in Clear Lake cemetery
