She was born May 16, 1933 in Vermontville the daughter of Erbie E. and Isabelle R(Brumm) Zemke. Bev went on to marry Ted Rux Sr. in 1952. He passed away in 2018. They had three children She later married Bill Lindberg in 1998. He preceded her in death in 2011. Bev worked as a nurse at Ionia Hospital for 40 years and received Nurse of the Year Honors. She was a member of Shiloh Community Church and Berlin Center Church. She was involved with multiple quilting clubs, the Red Har Society and was a past 4-H leader. She had a lifelong love for horses, riding and showing for many years, and memories of her special horse "Laddie" Surviving Bev are her children; Diana J.Rux-Wilson of Ionia, Michell (Robert) Rux-Boehm of Hubbardston and Ted Rux Jr. of Ionia. Step-children; Dave (Carolyn) Lindberg of Lake Odessa, Louise Anderson of Hastings and Denny (Sharron) Lindberg of Safford VA., Grandchildren: Jennifer Hibma of Greenville, Hadley Boehm of Colombia, Missouri, Dulcee Boehm of Grand Rapids, Constance (Billy) Garcia of Avalon, California and Michael Rux of Portage. Great-grandchildren; Brett, Kyle and Isabella Hibma; Jack, Penny ad Melody Garcia. 9 great great- grandchildren, brother Jim (Joann) Zemke of Vermontvile. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services for Bev will be a the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia on Thursday, July 21st. at noon with Pastor Mark Vorenkamp officiating. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery in Vermontville. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 11 a.m until time of service. Bev enjoyed Ice Cream until the end. In her memory please join the family at Cook and Co. Creamery and Confections following the service. In lieu of flowers, Bev asked that memorial contributions go to the First Congregational Church of Vermontville or the Vermontville Historical Museum.
