Lorene M. Lindl, 37, of Katy, Texas, former Muir resident, died Saturday evening
at Katy.  She was born July 27, 1956, in Ionia, the daughter of William and
Thelma Lindsley Hawley, and was raised by an aunt, Evelyn Hawley, of Muir she
was employed as a nursing home aide.  She was married to Kurt Lindl in Texas in
July 1982.  He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Kristopher and Eric, at home; her aunt, Evelyn
Hawley of Muir; a brother, David Putnam of Fenwick; and two sisters, Sandra
Lepard of Lake Odessa and Leanne Putnam of Oregon.

Cremation has taken place.  Memorial services will be Friday 2 p.m. from Hull
Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. David Blincoe officiating.  Burial will be in
Balcom Cemetery.  A fund for the education of her children has been established,
in care of the funeral chapel.
