Ionia Woman Dies as Result of Falls

Mrs. Jennie Lindley, 676 West Main St., died in Butterworth hospital., Grand 
Rapids, Monday, February 4, of injuries suffered in a fall early in January, at 
the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Weiler, of Grand Rapids.  In December she 
fell and broke her shoulder and on January 9, she fell again and suffered a 
broken back.

Mrs. Lindley, who was 79 years old, was born in Ionia, May 23, 1872, and had 
always lived here.  For over 30 years she had lived on West Main Street.

She is survived by the daughter, Mrs. Weiler; a son, Stephen, of Redding, 
California, several grand children and great grand children.  Her husband, 
Stephen Lindley, died in 1941.

The body will remain at Myers Funeral Home until Friday afternoon when funeral 
services will be held from the evangelical U-B church at two o’clock.  Rev. R. 
C. Middleton will officiate and burial will be in West Sebewa cemetery.
