The Portland Review, Thursday, January 6, 1944

Mrs. Sarah Lindley, 89, a well known former Portland resident, died at the 
home of her daughter, Mrs. Nelson Stevens, in Seattle, Wash., recently, 
according to news received by relatives here.  Mr. Lindley’s maiden name was 
Sarah Warren, and she was born in Portland, and spent her early life here.  
Her husband, Alonzo Lindley, died in the West several years ago.

Mrs. Lindley was a half sister of the late James Baker of Portland. Mrs. 
Stevens is the only surviving child.
