Portland Observer - Thurs. July 24, 1924


The death of Mrs. Lorenzo Lindley occurred last Thursday night, at her home on 
the west side of the river, following a stroke of apoplexy. Funeral services 
were held at the Methodist Church Sunday afternoon. 

Mrs. Lindley was born in Ohio in 1854 and came to Portland when a young girl. 
In 1878 she was united in marriage to Lorenzo Lindley, who with two children, 
Mrs. Inez Haley, of Detroit, and Ward Lindley, of Ionia, survive. One sister, 
Mrs. Rosa Franks also survives.
