Donald Marvin Lindner, 67, of Butternut, died July 4, 2002, at Spectrum
Health-Butterworth Campus, Grand Rapids.  Mr. Lindner was born Nov. 11, 1934, in
Lansing, to Andrew and Dorothy Dalton Lindner.  He worked for Fisher Body,
Lansing, for many years.  He loved animals and raising birds.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Shirley Dent of Butternut; his
daughters, Debra A. Schafer of Butternut, Roxie L. Lindner of Mount Pleasant,
Rhonda R. Badgley of Sheridan; his sons and daughter-in-law, Denny L.M. Lindner
of Carson City, Randy D. and Laura Lindner of Hubbardston, David S. Lindner of
Hubbardston; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; his sister, Ardith
Kessler of Phoenix, Ariz.; his brother, Wayne Lindner of Lansing; his
stepdaughters, Roxane Dent of Edmore, June and Mike Willis of Gladstone, Sherry
Dent of Sumner; his stepsons, Robert and Marcy Dent of Crystal, Russell Dent of
Butternut; and 11 step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Dorothy Lindner, his
brother, Gene Lindner, his sisters, Carol Romanzuck and Shirley May Lindner.

Funeral services were July 8 at the Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City,
with the Rev. Dave Kingsberry, of the Crystal Lake Community Church,
officiating.  Interment was in Westside cemetery, Hubbardston.   Memorials may
be made to the American Heart Association.
