Lindquist, 90, of 806 4th Ave., Lake Odessa, died Wednesday at Pennock Hospital where he had been a patient for 10 days. He had been at the Ionia Manor since February. Mr. Lindquist was born May 8, 1889, in Plano, Ill., the son of Charles and Sophia Wessman Lindquist. He attended school in Plano and moved with his family to a farm in the Lake Odessa area in 1915. He was employed by the Pullman Company in Chicago and Oldsmobile in Lansing until his retirement in 1964. Mr. Lindquist served in the U.S. Army in WWI. Survivors include a nephew, Fred Garlinger; two nieces, Mrs. Arthur (Marcia) Raffler and Laural Garlinger, both of Lake Odessa. A brother and sister preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa with the Rev. John Doud officiating.
