Kenneth A. Lindsay, 32, died early Sunday morning at Blodgett hospital in Grand 
Rapids where he was taken Saturday afternoon following a cerebral hemorrhage.  
He resided at Evergreen Trailer park, route three.

Mr. Lindsay was born in London, Ont., February 10, 1928, the son of Mr. and 
Mrs. Richard Lindsay.  He was married December 9, 1950 in London to Geraldine 
Smale.  They moved to Grand Rapids in 1954 where Mr. Lindsay was employed at 
Meijer’s grocery and moved to Ionia in 1957 when he became manager of the meat 
department at Meijer’s market.  

He was a member of Ionia Fishing and Hunting club.  Mr. Lindsay served with 
United Sates Army from 1954-56.

Surviving are his wife, Geraldine; two children, Barbara Kathleen and Robert 
Allen; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lindsay of London, and one brother, 
Thomas of Garden City. 

Funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 pm. Wednesday at the Stone-Kauffman 
funeral home with the Rev. Theodore Timler officiating.  Burial will be at 
Balcom cemetery.
