Ionia Sentinel Standard, 7 Feb 1959

Albert Lindsey, 75, died Friday night at 6:45 in the Ionia County Memorial
hospital after a long illness.  He was born August 23, 1883, east of Lyons, the
son of Frank and Alice Lindsey and attended the rural school.  He was married
June 20, 1904 to Bessie Hodges at Lyons where they lived all of their married
life.  Mr. and Mrs. Lindsey celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1954.

He is survived by his wife, Bessie; a son, Albert N. Lindsey of Chicago; three
daughters, Mrs. Richard Bennett and Mrs. Otto Horrocks of Lyons and Mrs. Robert
Duval of Ann Arbor; 14 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two
sisters, Mrs. Fred Knapp of Greenville and Mrs. Edward Brown of Lyons.

Funeral arrangements are being made by the Shaw-Rivett funeral home at Muir. 
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Shaw-Rivett funeral home in
Muir with the Rev. Richard Kidder of Lyons officiating.  Burial will be in Lyons
cemetery.
