Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Mon. Aug. 17, 1970

Mrs. Anna Bell Lindsey, 58, of 4622 Center, Palo, died Sunday morning at 
Belding Community hospital after being a patient two weeks. 

She was born in Hillsdale county April 9, 1912, the daughter of Burley and 
Hazel Oles Swift. She lived most of her life in Eaton and Mecosta counties and 
the last 16 years made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Teeter in Ionia 
and Palo.

Surviving are a son, George Day of Grand Rapids and her daughter of Palo; one 
granddaughter; four brothers, George, Benjamin, Victor and Wendall Swift of 
Charlotte; four sister, Verl, Sarah and Mary Swift of Charlotte and Mrs. Claude 
Phelps of Lansing. 

Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon at 1 pm at Boynton-Leddick funeral 
home. Rev. Charles Henderson of Palo Baptist church will officiate and cemetery 
interment will be at Balcom. 

Family will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
