The Ionia County News, Thursday, October 27, 1960
Mrs. Bessie Lindsey, 74, of Lyons, died Sunday, October 16, at an Ionia 
hospital after a long illness.  She was life resident of the Lyons area.

Surviving are a son, Albert Jr., of Chicago, Ill.; three daughters, Mrs. 
Richard Bennett and Mrs. Otto Horrocks, both of Lyons and Mrs. Robert Duval of 
Ann Arbor; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Verne 
Cassell of Sunfield.

Funeral services were held Tuesday October 18 at 2:00 p.m. at the Estep 
funeral home in Muir.  Interment was in the Lyons cemetery.
