Lindsey, 83, died Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Edward Brown, of Lyons. He was born in Pewamo October 10, 1860. September 16, 1882, he was married to Alice J. Hopkins, who died 22 years ago. Surviving him are two sons, Albert F. Lindsey of Lyons and Nathaniel P. Lindsey of Detroit; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Brown of Lyons and Mrs. Fred Knapp of Sheridan; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Shaw- Rivett funeral chapel, Muir. Rev. Gerald Jacobs will officiate and burial will be in Lyons cemetery. Pallbearers will be Howard Gladding, Paul Gladding, Chester Gladding, Fred Thomas, Jr., Horace Clements and Elmer Hopkins.
