Last Thursday Noah Lindsley, 79, died at the home of his son, Lloyd H. Lindsley. For some time he had made his home with another son, Carl, in Sebewa, but left there following the death of his granddaughter, Lola Lindsley. Funeral services were held from the Baptist church Sunday afternoon, in charge of Rev. Stewart. His death followed an attack of pneumonia. Mr. Lindsley was born in Ohio and came to this vicinity with his parents when 16 years of age. In 1876 he married Ida C. Hendee, a sister of the late Judson and Oscar Hendee. In 1882 he moved to Mt. Pleasant, returning to Portland in 1919. His wife passed away four years ago.
