The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, February 8, 2003

Eleanor Lindsley, 58, of Orleans passed away February 6, 2003.  She was born 
February 12, 1944 in Ionia the daughter of Lewis and Lydia (Towne) Sharp.  She 
graduated in 1963 from Ionia High School.  She went on to marry Roger Lindsley 
June of 1963.

She is survived by her husband Roger Lindsley I of Orleans; children, Ronald 
and Cindy Lindsley of Texas, Melissa and Mark Witzel of Belding, Michelle 
Paulson of Ionia, Ryan and Angie Lindsley of Ionia, and Richard Lindsley of 
Orleans; sisters, Arleen Weeks of Ionia and Joanna and Jack Brechting of 
Belding; brother Donald Sharp of Ionia; and ten grandchildren.  She was 
preceded in death by parents Lewis and Lydia Sharp and son Roger Dale Lindsley 
II.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Zion United Methodist Church 
in Ionia with Rev. Don Graham officiating.  The family will receive friends 
and family at the church Monday 1 p.m. until time of service.  In lieu of 
flowers a memorial contribution may be made to the family.  Arrangements were 
made by Lake Funeral Homes in Ionia.
