L. Jean Lindsley, age 91, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014.  She was born on 
May 5, 1923 in Portland, MI the daughter of Perry and Nora Lindsley.  Jean was 
a member of the First Baptist Church, and loved gardening, traveling and bird 
watching. 

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Lyle; sister, Alice.  
Surviving are her nephews, Duane and Brian Lindsley; several great nieces, 
nephews, cousins and friends. 

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the 
First Baptist Church, Portland, with Pastor Gary Coleman presiding.  Interment 
will follow at Portland Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 
p.m., Wednesday at Lehman Funeral Homes, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland, and 
from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at church.
