LINDSLEY
Roger Dale Lindsley Sr., of Lowell formerly of Ionia passed away July 28, 2018. He
was born July 20, 1937 in Portland, Michigan the son of Ernest and Marquritte (Wolcott)
Lindsley. He served in the Navy during the Korea Conflict. Roger married Eleanore Sharp June 15,
1963. She preceded him in death February 6, 2003.

He was member of Zion methodist church in Ionia, NRA and AARP. He loved hunting,
stock car racing and bowling.

Roger is survived by his children, Ronald Lindsley of Wayland, Melissa (Mark) Witzel
of Texas, Michelle Paulson of Texas, Ryan (Norma) Sawdy of Belding and Richard (Jaimie)
Lindsley of Stanton, 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Roger Lindsley II; brothers, Robert
and Ralph.

A memorial service was held Friday 12:30 pm, at Zion United Methodist Church in
Ionia. Visitation will be 11:30 am until time of service at he church. Interment Easton
Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. memorial contributions may be
made to his family.
