Portland- Nora M. Lindsley, 88, of Portland, died Sunday in Ionia. She was 
born in Danby Twp. on January 26, 1904, the daughter of C.W. and Eva Dulcher 
Peake.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Portland. She retired as a 
Housemother for the Michigan School of the Blind.

She is survived by two daughters, L. Jean Lindsley of Portland and Alice E. 
Lindsley of Schaumburg, Illinois; two grandsons; and three great 
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Perry and her son Lyle. Funeral 
services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Neller Chapel in Portland, with 
the Rev. Donald J. Chapel and the Rev. Errol H. Jameson officiating. Burial 
will be in the Portland Cemetery.

the family will be at the Neller Chapel from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.

A memorial has been established for the First Baptist Church, in care of the 
funeral home.
