Linebaugh, of Portland, age 89, passed away on Feb. 6, 2008. She was born on June 3, 1918 in Detroit the daughter of Raymond and Ruth (Kilts) Benner. Natalie was a member of First United Methodist Church in Portland for more than 50 years. She retired from the State of Michigan Insurance Bureau in 1983. She enjoyed playing bridge, cooking for her family, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Natalie was a member of the Portland Riding Club and was involved with the Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts. On Jan. 30, 1937 she married John Linebaugh and together they shared 51 years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1988; daughter, Janie Euvrard in 1994; brothers Wallace (June) Benner and Verlon (Shirley) Benner and brother-in-law, John Jenks. Surviving are her children Robert “Barney” (Laura ) Linebaugh of Portland and Joyce McCrumb of Portland; grandchildren, Dr. Michelle McCrumb of Martha’s Vineyard, Mass., Lynette (Mark) Brown of Portland Michael (Delanie) McCrumb of Decatur, Ga. and Andrew (Dana) Linebaugh, Dannelle (Mark) Spitzley, John Haddix and Josh Euvrard all of Portland; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Duane (Phyllis) Benner of Sydney; sisters, Beverly Jenks of Lake Odessa and Shirley Allen of Clearwater, Fla. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Gregory Wolfe at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008 at First United Methodist Church, Portland. Interment will follow at Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland.
