Mrs. Permelia Lingo, aged 78 years, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clara Brown, Monday evening at 10:30, from ailments incident to old age. Mrs. Lingo was born in Coldwater, Michigan, where she was married to the late William Sprague, shortly afterward coming to Portland. Several years after the death of her first husband, which occurred in 1878, she was married to Mr. Lingo, who passed away a number of years ago. She is survived by two daughters and four sons, Mrs. Clara Brown of Portland, Mrs. William Fishel of Danby, Otto Sprague of Big Rapids, C. E. Sprague and Edward Sprague of Mulliken and Amsey Sprague of Salt Lake City, Utah. The funeral was held from the Brown residence this afternoon at one o’clock, in charge of Rev. Floyd Blewfield. Interment was made in Danby cemetery.
