She had been a semi-invalid for more than 40 years. Mrs. Link was born in Lyons October 29, 1848, ten years after Elisha Newman, the first settler arrived in what is now known as the village of Portland. Mrs. Link is survived by her husband, Albert Link, who is 87 years of age. The couple celebrated their 65 wedding anniversary last July and lived in the same house more than 50 years.
