BRUCE D. LISCOMBE

Died Thursday May 14, 2026-age 72 of Crystal.
Born March 19, 1954 in Carson City, son of L.Dean & Janice (Thomas) Liscombe.
Graduated from Carson City High School in 1972, then went to Western Michigan 
University.
In 1974 Bruce joined the US Army & proudly served 21 years, retiring in 1995.
Was stationed in several different places within US & Germany, His favorite was 
Alaska.
Married Julie Austin on April 11, 1981, together they raised 2 children, Joshua 
and Merissa.
After retiring from the Army, Bruce worked for GM until he retired in 2009.
He was a life member of the VFW & American Legion Post #182 in Hubbardston.
Survived by his wife of 45 years, Julie; his son Joshua Liscombe & his children 
Layla & Joey; his daughter Merissa (BJ) Parrish & her children, Cory & Liam; 
sisters Melody (Sandy) Klock & Teri (Bob) Austin; sister-in-law Chris Allen; & 
several nieces, and nephews. 
Preceded in death by his parents; sister Linda Liscombe; father & mother-in-law 
Floyd & Irene Austin; & brother-in-law David Allen.
Celebration of Life will take place at the American Legion Post#182 (165 Lincoln 
Ave.,Hubbardston, MI 48845) from 1-4 pm on Thursday, May 28, 2026
Please dress casually, tie dye or military themed.
