June L. Listerman, 80, of Ionia, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2004.  She was 
born on January 24, 1924 in Ionia.  June was born and raised on the Holcomb 
Farm in Ionia and she married Bill Listerman on May 18, 1941.

She was preceded in death by her adopted parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Holcomb 
and birth parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Cassell; son, Charles Listerman.

Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Bill Listerman of Ionia; sons, Thomas J. 
(special friend, Bonnie Beach) Listerman of Ionia, and Larry (Janet) Listerman 
of Ionia; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Marine Cassell; 
brother, Larry Cassell.

The funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Harger, Pastor of 
Shiloh Community Church, at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral 
Home, 220 Rich Street, Ionia with interment following at Sunset Memorial 
Gardens, Ionia.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.  
For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Shiloh Community 
Church in memory of Mrs. June L. Listerman.
