Francis “Bill” Larry Listerman aged 84, of Ionia, passed away April 2, 2006 in 
Ionia. He was born December 8, 1921 in Evart. He married June Holcomb May 16, 
1941 in Ionia.

Bill farmed all of his life on the family homestead at the corner of Jefferson 
and Parmeter. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, 
restoring tractors and hit and miss motors.  He spent his last year under the 
loving care of Dan and Denise Dood of Whispering Pines Assisted Living.

Surviving are his sons; Larry and Janet Listerman of Ionia, Tom and Bonnie 
Listerman of Ionia, daughter-in-law Terri Listerman of Ionia; brother, Robert 
and Clarabelle Listerman of Evart; brother-in-law, Olin Baldwin of Evart, 
Larry Cassel of Washington; sister in law, Maureen and Eric Guest; many 
grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Bill was preceded in death by his 
loving wife of 63 years June, his son Charles, sisters Etha and Edna.

Funeral services will be held 11a.m., Friday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia 
with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. The family will receive friends and 
relatives Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Anyone wishing may 
make a memorial contribution to Shiloh Community Church.
