LEON LITCHFIELD, 66
Leon Lavern Litchfield, 66, of Ionia, passed away Dec. 5, 2017, in Ionia. He was 
born Nov. 2, 1951, in Ionia, the son of Leo and Cecelia (Kelly) Litchfield. Leon 
married Beth Robinson June 12, 1976, at Shiloh Community Church.

He was member of Ronald Township Fire Department and Odd Fellows lodge in Palo. 
He attended Shiloh Community Church. he worked at Gencorp for 23 years and later 
at Extruded Aluminum for seven years.

Leon is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Beth Litchfield of Ionia; 
children, Kristalee (Charles) Miller of Ionia, Shawn (Ashley) Litchfield of 
Kentwood, Lisa (Jacob) DeWind of Kalamazoo and Kevin Litchfield of Ionia; 
grandchildren, Oliveah Miller, Login Litchfield, Xavier Litchfield, Madison 
Litchfield, baby Litchfield and Hannah DeWind; siblings, Beverly Andersen of 
Ionia, Jerry (Kathy) Litchfield of Portland, Retta (Dale) McCaul of Clarksville; 
brother-in-law, Bob Robinson of Palo and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Linda.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Dec.11, at Shiloh Community church 
with Pastor Kenneth Harger and Pastor Shane Prewitt officiating. Interment 
Woodard lake cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. at Lake
