Littell David P. Littell, age 71, loving husband, father of three passed away in the care of his family on Saturday, March 25, 2023 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 14,1951 i Richwood,Ohio, the son of Lester Howard Littell and Martha L.Littell (Temple). David graduated from North Union High School class of 1970 and briefly attended his beloved Ohio State University (GO BUCKS). He found his love of computer sciences while working on summer break, never returned to school, instead he became a trailblazer in the programing industry. His parents and both brothers, Larry and Lanny Littell preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife, Michele Littell; his daughters,Crystal D. Littell, Misty A.Ziegler (Littell), and Brittany S.Yam (Littell), and son-in- law, Cody J.Yaw, as well as his five grandchildren, James C.Martin,Alyssa M.Ziegler, Celeste T. Littell-Yaw and Samantha A.Starks. David loved fantastical stories including science fiction and comics so much that he was never seen outside of his home without a good book to read "In case he had a few minutes". He was himself a storyteller, but only wrote for his family, whom he loved to the moon and back. David enjoyed traveling for both work and family trips. He couldn't deliver a joke well, but his laugh would make you smile and chuckle with the delight he took in life. He took joy in the simple things in life, a thunderstorm, trivia with family and friends, coffee for hours just talking, but sometimes especially on the open road on his Gold Wing. When the weather started to get nice you would see him riding his bike everywhere, just give him an excuse to run to the store and you wouldn't see him for at least an hour. David's battle was a long one but the ears it gave his loved ones will be cherished forever we will be gathering on Saturday,April 1, 2023 from 3 to 6 p.m. to say goodbye to an amazing and loyal man at Koops Funeral Home at 935 4th Ave. Lake Odessa,MI 48849.
