Little who died July 18 at his home at the age of 75 years were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home and 2:30 at the M.E. Church. The services were in charge of the Masonic lodge with Charles Reasoner reading the ritual. Mr. Little was born in Ronald township and had lived his entire life here. Fifty-three years ago he married Miss Susie Little and three years ago they observed their golden wedding. Mr. Little is probably known better than the average person reared in this community because for the past 51 ears he has threshed throughout this territory and no doubt has threshed on every farm one time or another. Last winter he was taken sick and although he was slightly improved he never regained his health. Rev. Lewis Herrick paid him a splendid tribute in his sermon. Mrs. George Tasker furnished the music accompanied by Mrs. Louis Hatinger. Besides his wife, Mr Little leaves one daughter, Mrs. Ted Sherwood, and two granddaughters, Vearl and Velma of Carson City; a brother James of Grand Rapids , and a sister Mrs. Claud Dickerson, of Ronald. Their only son, Merle, a World ware veteran preceded him in death 19 years. Those from the Masonic lodge who carried him to his final resting place in Palo cemetery were Guy Comstock, Herb Hellogg, John Steadman, Fred Minier, Ralph Safford and Vernon Judevine.
