Former Resident Passes.

Mrs. Lucy Little, 67, passed away at Beyer hospital in Ypsilanti Tuesday
evening.  As Lucy Auguste Bearss, she was born September 18, 1884 in Rose Lake
township, Osceola county, the daughter of John and Julia Bearss.  She was
married to Ernest Little, who passed away in 1920, leaving six children and she
was a resident here for about 30 years.  After her husband’s death, she cared
for his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Little.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Velma Bafford of Lincoln Park, two sons,
Robert W. and Charles Kenneth of Wayne and 11 grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs.
Lily McDonald, of Dafter, Mrs. Ethel MacNaughton, of Dighton and one brother,
Lewellyn Bearss of Cadillac.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 o’clock at Fitzjohn’s funeral home,
with Rev. William Cusick of Detroit officiating and burial will be in River
Ridge cemetery beside her husband.
