Little, 59, died at her home, 532 West Lincoln Avenue, Tuesday evening at 5:30 of a stroke that she suffered about noon. Mrs. Little had been in poor health several months and recently returned from a Grand Rapids hospital but since her return had been about the house and was seemingly recovering. She was a native of Jackson but has lived much of her life in this vicinity. Mrs. Little was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and through this affiliation and the devotion to her home exemplified a fine Christian character and always ready to sacrifice much for either institution. She leaves her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Ray Link of South Ionia, and Sada and Lucille of Grand Rapids; also two brothers, John Robinson of Ionia and Harry Robinson of Fenwick and three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Brown of Lansing; Mrs. Frank Wood, Orleans township, and Mrs. Carey Nichols of Ionia. Her pastor, Rev. W. F. Kendrick, will conduct the services from the home Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The burial will be in the Orleans cemetery. Additional Comments: Transcriber’s Note: The obituary states burial was in the Orleans cemetery which is located in Orleans Township. However, cemetery transcription records on the Ionia County MiGenWeb site indicate burial was in the Greenop (Hurd) Cemetery, also located in Orleans Township.
