The Ionia County News, Thursday, July 8, 1943
James E. Little died Sunday July 4, at the home of a nephew, Russell Wood at 
Woods Corners.  He was 74 years old.  Mr. Little was born in Ronald township, 
May 6, 1869, and for many years lived on a farm in that township.  In addition 
to his farming activities, he was a carpenter, and spent the last few years at 
his trade.  

He is survived by three daughters, Lucille Little of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. 
Greta Link of Hastings, and Mrs. Sadie Hansen of Lansing.  He also leaves a 
stepsister and brother, Sadie Worden of Belding and James Worden of Chicago.  
Funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon with burial in Orleans cemetery 
beside his wife who died in 1929.
