The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, February 8, 1929
Following months of declining health, Mrs. Anna Littlefield, of Saranac, died 
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Pierce, in South Ionia Friday morning.  The 
body has been taken to the Bradley funeral home where the remains may be seen 
until 10 o’clock Sunday morning when they will betaken to Saranac to the home 
of Mr. and Mrs. Harris.

The funeral service s will be held from the home of Henry Harris in Saranac 
Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  The burial will be in the Oak Hill cemetery, 
Grand Rapids.  Rev. Hayward will be in charge.

Mrs. Littlefield was born in Pennsylvania September 7, 1841, but had  lived in 
Michigan since she was a small child.  Her marriage to S. O. Littlefield took 
place at the home of her niece, Mrs. John Walter, of Saranac, May 9, 1888.  
She lived in Lowell until a few years ago, when she came to Saranac to reside 
with her niece, Mrs. Henry Harris.
