Sentinel-Standard - Wednesday, July 3, 1935

Funeral services for Raymond Lively, 48, and Royal Whitten, ex-service men who 
died at the Ionia state hospital Monday and Tuesday were held Wednesday morning 
at 10 o'clock with Rev. H.A. Simpson, pastor of the Presbyterian church, 
officiating. Bearers were members of the American Legion, Don White, Felix 
Bredice, Raymon Barnes, Bert Watkins, Charles Jack, Jr., Leonard Swanson, Lloyd 
T. Smith and Eldon Willard. Interment was at Balcom cemetery.
