Ionia Sentinel Standard, 6 Aug 1975

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Margaret Livingston, 71, will be Thursday at 2 
p.m. at the Leddick funeral home.  Rev. Nolan Williams of the Zion United 
Methodist church will officiate and interment will be at the Lyons cemetery.  
Mrs. Livingston, who lived at 441 State, died early Tuesday morning of an 
apparent heart attack and Dr. Leandre Bautista, medical examiner, pronounced 
her dead on arrival at Ionia Memorial hospital.

Born in Goldfield, Iowa, December 15, 1903, she was the daughter of Rasmie and 
Lillian Wood Rasmussen and came with her parents to rural Lyons as a child.  
She attended the Lyons schools.  

She was married in Lyons to Lovilo Livingston October 29, 1926, and made her 
home in Lyons many years.  Her husband died August 15, 1939, and a daughter, 
Ruth, died May 26, 1970.  She was a member of the Ionia chapter of nursing home 
operators.

Her only survivors are cousins.  Relatives will be at the funeral home 
Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
