Lake Odessa Wave, 5 May 1966

Austin Livingston, age 84 years of 761 W. Cyrus St., Clarksville died at the
Wyntzen? Nursing Home, rural Lowell at 12:35 Sunday morning following a long
illness.  

Mr. Livingston was born September 12, 1881?, the son of Hiram and Christina
(Kauffman) Livingston of Campbell Township.  He married Jennie M. Potter of
Lowell December 12, 1966.  She died April 21, 1949.  Mr. Livingston, a retired
farmer was a member of Lakeside Grange and the Bowne Mennonite Church.

He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Adrian Cobb (Frances) of Ionia, Mrs.
Sheldon (Mabel) Mesecar of Mulliken and Mrs. Alan (Charlene) Hale of Perry; six
sons, Glenn of Jackson, Kenneth of Tampa, Fla., and Lloyd,  Wilbur, Wayne and
Hiram of Clarksville; 31 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; also one
brother Charles Livingston of Clarksville.  One daughter, Mrs. LaVerne Essington
of Saranac preceded her father in death March 22, 1966.

The body reposed at Pickens Funeral Chapel in Clarksville until Wednesday noon
when it was taken to the Bowne Mennonite Church for a two o’clock service. 
Reverend Daniel Zook officiated.  Burial in the church cemetery.
