Livingston, age 85, of Morrison Lake, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2007. Wilbur was born on September 27, 1921, the son of Austin and Jennie (Potter) Livingston, and was raised on the family farm near Pinhook Corners. He graduated from Clarksville High School in 1940. Wilbur served in the US Army for four years during WWII, and saw action in the European Theater. He was united in marriage to Geraldine Lou Seelig on July 30, 1948. After several years of employment at Dohler-Jarvis, in 1961 Wilbur joined what would later become United Bank from which he retired in 1984 after serving as vice president. He was a member of the Clarksville Lions Club since 1961. He helped organize the Clarksville Morrison Lake Wastewater Authority and served on the board for 10 years. Wilbur was instrumental in organizing Bear Creek Senior Villa, and served on its board and was treasurer for 20 years. He was a member of the Clarksville Businessmen’s Association for many years, and gave many hours of his time to help make the Clarksville Ox Roast a successful event each year. Wilbur is survived by Lou, his loving and devoted wife of 58 years; son, Daniel (Kayomi) Livingston; daughters, Terrese Livingston, and Dianne (Scott) Reed; nine grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters and five brothers. He was a devoted family and community oriented man, and will be greatly missed. The funeral service was held at the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa on Thursday, May 31, 2007. Burial with military honors was in Clarksville Cemetery.
