She was 84 years of age last October. She was a native of Oneida county, N. Y., and came to Portland 64 years ago in March, making the journey all the way with her husband in sleighs. She had resided here ever since. They first settled on what is now known as the Paul Gale place north of town, but resided on other farms in this vicinity, coming to the village 38 years ago and settling on the farm now owned by Ferdinand Fedewa. She had resided some years in the little house where she died near the cemetery. She was a motherly old lady and had the respect of a large acquaintance, she having been for many years an expert rag carpet weaver. She is survived by Mrs. Mary Lawless, Los Angeles; Sarah Tracy, Zina and Effie Lloyd, Portland, and Nelson Lloyd, Wellman, Mis??. Funeral services will be conducted from the house by Rev. Millard at 10 o’clock Wednesday. File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/mi/ionia/obits/l/lloyd10647nob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/mifiles/ File size: 1.6 Kb
