The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, October 15, 1923

The funeral services of little Ellen Lobdell were held from the home of her 
parents Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lobdell, 722 East Main street, Saturday, with Rev. 
Joseph H. Green officiating.  Mrs. Hodgkins and Chandler Haight, accompanied 
by Mrs. Wood at the piano, furnished the music.  Little friends of the little 
girl, Misses Esther Panney and Eva Meisling, had charge of the redolent 
quantities of floral offerings.  The bearers were also little friends 
composing the Misses Mable Bice, Violet Kunkle, Alice Gallagher, and Irene 
Gallagher.  Burial was in Highland Park cemetery.
