The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, September 30, 1952

Fred C. Lobdell, 74, died Tuesday morning, September 30, at his home in Boston 
township after being ill for some time.  He was born September 19, 1878, at 
Jennison.  Mr. and Mrs. Lobdell moved to Saranac from northern Michigan seven 
years ago.

He leaves the widow, Gladys; three daughters, Mrs. Lyle Beattie of Keene 
township, Mrs. Ione Perry of Casnovia, and Helen at home; and three 
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. William R. Cusick of Detroit at 
the Morris funeral home, Saranac, Friday at 2:30 p.m.  Interment will be in 
Highland Park cemetery, Ionia.
