Daily Sentinel-Std. - Tuesday, Sept. 17, 1968

Charles Lobdell, 89, route 2, Ionia retired Ronald township farmer, died Monday 
evening at a Grand Rapids hospital. He had been a resident of Ronald township 
60 years.

He was born January 3, 1879 at Pardieville, Wis., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry 
Lobdell. July 1904 he was married to LaVina Plant who died in 1967.

Surviving are a son, George Lobdell of route 2, a daughter, Mrs. Herbert 
Dinning of route 2; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Rev. Paul Knaak of Marshall will conduct funeral services Thursday at 2 pm at 
Stone-Kauffman funeral home with interment at Tuttle cemetery.
