He had lived alone for some time but his son of Detroit, his only child, was called a few days ago and had been with him since. Mr. Lobo was a Spanish-American war veteran and enlisting with him at the time he entered the service was his son, both serving through the duration of the war. Mr. Lobo was born in Monroe county and had lived the greater part of his life there. It was there that he enlisted. He lived for a time in Detroit and later years had lived in the vicinity of Long lake and Clear lake. A sister, Mrs. Taft, of Flint, also survives. Although late Saturday afternoon definite arrangements had not been made for the funeral service, it was expected that they would be held in the Catholic church Monday morning. Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery in Belding.
