Belding Banner

After an illness extending over about six weeks, during which she has 
gradually grown worse until the end came, the spirit of Mrs. Frank J. Locke 
left its earthly habitation to seek the realms of those gone on before, the 
final summons occurring on Sunday at about 1 o’clock.

The funeral was held at her late home in the Belding block on Wednesday 
afternoon at 2:30, the services being conducted by Mrs. Belle Fuller, a 
spiritualistic medium of Grand Rapids to which belief Mrs. Locke clung during 
her early life.

Deceased was thirty eight years, two months and twenty six days old and leaves 
besides her husband, two brothers, Will of Owen of Grand Rapids and Riley Owen 
of this city, also one sister, Mrs. Nettie Eckert of this city.  Following the 
obsequies the remains were laid to rest in the city cemetery.
