Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2002

Janet Ann Lockhart, 64, of Portland, passed away on Monday, Nov. 18, 2002 in 
Grand Rapids.  She was born on Jan. 11, 1938 in Detroit, the daughter of 
Stanley and Catherine (Kaminski) Dyplowski.  Mrs. Lockhart’s true love of her 
life was her son, Larry and grandson, Andrew.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Raymond; and sisters, 
Irene and Cassie.  Surviving are her son, Larry (Glenda) Lewis of Portland; 
grandson Andrew Lewis; brothers, Tony and Chester Dyplowski of the Detroit 
area; sisters, Mary (Kenneth) Packey of Clay City, Ind., and Stella of the 
Detroit area; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated by Rev. Shaumaun Beas, Associate Pastor, 
St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Portland at noon, Thursday at Schrauben-Lehman 
Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland. The family will receive friends from 
11 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.  Rite of Committal 
will be Portland Cemetery.
