FT. BENNING, GA.- Hope Angela Lockhart, 18, of Ft. Benning, Georgia, formerly 
of Saranac, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 1996.

She was born Aug. 2, 1977 in Spokane, Washington, the daughter of Glennis 
(Conner) Lockhart. She was a 1995 graduate of Saranac High School and was 
currently an active private 1st. class in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort 
Benning, Ga. 

She is survived by her mother Glennis Lockhart, of Saranac; brothers: Daniel 
(Ann) Lockhart, of Jackson, Dennis (Becky) Lockhart, of Tennessee, and 
Frederick (Ramona) Lockhart, of Washington; sisters: Donna Edwards, of Lansing 
and Susan (Mark) Crane, of Horton; grandmother Doris Conner, of Saranac; and 
several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis James an her sister, Debra 
Hansan.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Saranac Community Church 
with Rev. Stanley Hagemeyer officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 2 p.m. 
to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.

Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
