Rev. George Bolitho will officiate and will be assisted by Rev. Wayne Sparks. Mrs. Lockwood died Thursday at Ionia County Memorial hospital. She was born November 9, 1885, at Colon the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Helsel. December 21, 1903, she was married to Percy Lockwood at Greenville and he preceded her in death June 15, 1931. She had lived in Lyons township since 1915, was a member of Lyons United Methodist church and also Gleaner Life Insurance society. She had worked at Ypsilanti Reed Furniture company in Ionia and Lyons. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Frederick Avery of Nickle Plate road, Ionia, and Mrs. Dale Townsend, Peckins road, Lyons; nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Until noon Sunday Mrs. Lockwood will be at Shaw-Rivett-Hull funeral home in Muir. Interment will be at Lyons cemetery.
