   Excerpts from Ionia Obituary

    HONOR (WILLIAMS) LOFSTROM

Died June 10, 2025-age 92 in Lowell, MI
Born March 7, 1933, at Ionia to Allen & Esther (Ackerman) Williams, the youngest 
of seven children.
Honor graduated from Ionia High School & attended Michigan State University.
She aspired to be a Big City girl & moved to Detroit where she was employed at 
the Detroit Institute of Art.
In Detroit she met & married Dr.James Lofstrom.
She participated in real estate sales in the Grosse Pointe area.
Later she moved to California where she lived in the Palm Springs area for 
several years.
As a Social Events planner for various prominent celebrities, she cultivated 
meaningful friendships with many of her clients, where she volunteered with the 
Bob Hop Classic for may years.
in 2005, Honor returned to Michigan, moving to Traverse City, where she had 
family & friends.
When her needs increased, she returned to the Ionia area where she resided at 
Green Acres Independent Living & eventually Green Acres in Lowell for her final 
days.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband,Dr.James Lofstrom; siblings, Kathleen, 
Richard,Keith, Ben & Robin Williams.
Survived by her brother, Colin Williams of Saranac & several nieces & nephews.
At her request, there will be no services, Interment of her ashes will be at 
Christ Church Columbarium in Gross Pointe,MI at a later date.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Lake Funeral Home, Ionia,MI.
