Mrs. Logan was numbered among the early settlers of Ionia. She was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel Beattie and was well known throughout Ionia county. Mrs. Logan was the widow of the late Dr. Robert Logan who practiced in Ionia quite a good many years. She was a faithful member of the Methodist Episcopal church. Dr. and Mrs. Logan for many years lived in the house located at the northeast corner of Rich and East Washington streets. Mrs. Logan is survived by Mrs. Windoes and three sisters, Mrs. Ophelia Bliss, of Horricon, Wis.; Mrs. Linnie Horton, of Oceangrove, N.J., and Mrs. Allen, of Gowan. Mrs. William Burletson, North Jefferson, is a niece and was with Mrs. Logan at the time of her death. The body is expected to arrive in Ionia Tuesday morning and the funeral announcement will be made later.
