Wave, Thurs. July 16, 1960 Mrs. Lois Loganback Dies Unexpectedly Mrs. Lois I. Loganback, 56, route one, Saranac, passed away unexpectedly early Wednesday morning at her farm home on Ainsworth road, northwest of Lake Odessa. Coroner Neil Phelps said death was from natural causes and death was attributed to a heart ailment. She and her husband moved to Ionia county in 1941 from St. Louis, Michigan. Surviving are her husband, Walter N., one daughter, Mrs. Harlan (Ann) Middaugh, Jr., of Lake Odessa; four sons, Walter Jr., in U.S. service in Germany, Wesley of Woodbury; John and Lewis both of Saranac; 12 grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Thomas Lamey of Ithaca; Mrs. Arthur Adams of Alanta; Mrs. Robert Harvens and Mrs. Esther Bell of Chicago, Ill. ' three brothers, Russell Shellhaas of West Milton, Ohio, Michael and Joseph, both of Wayne, Michigan. Mrs. Longanback reposes at the Pickens funeral chapel and funeral services are pending arrival of the son from Germany.
