Born on September 16, 1947, in Chicago, IL, she was the beloved daughter of William and Kathrine Radaz, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her dearest sister, Karen Radaz-Wendel. Jan is survived by her devoted husband, Philip Lombardi, with whom she shared 58 wonderful years of marriage.She is also survived by ehr daughter, Sheri Lombardi-Schmidt, and son-in-law, eric Schmidt; her son, Michael Lombardi, and his partner, Michelle Hauser; her brother-in-law, Wayne Wendel; her beloved grandchildren, Austin & Carli Schmidt; and her sisters-in-law, Janet Lombardi- Englund and Phyllis Lombardi-VanEngelhoven, along with their husbands, Patrick Englund and David VanEngelhoven. She was also a loving Aunt to many Nieces & Nephews. Jan spent her adult years as a hairdresser and restaurant owner alongside her husband. She was known as a wonderful cook, skilled gardener and passionate bird watcher. She had a sharp with and a loving heart that kept smiles on the faces of everyone around her. A visitation will be held on April 18 at 10 a.m. CT at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Glen Ellyn, IL with a service to follow at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St.Jude Children's Hospital.
