London was called to join his Lord. Dave graduated from Saranac High School in 1974, and went to college at Michigan Tech. Dave worked at GenCore in Ionia, and later for 18 years with Rohr Gasoline Equipment in Byron Center. Dave had a passion for working with his hands and spending time with his family. Among his list of great accomplishments were coaching his children in various sports and activities, and building the home he shared with his wife Gay. In his lifetime, Dave inspired, connected, and helped many people from all walks of life. He enjoyed spending hours on Como Lake in Greenville, teaching his grandsons to fish and spending time with family. During his 58 years, Dave would pick things up that he would later use to remember a special place or time, such as a two-hearted river stone he carried with him, found during a kayaking trip. Dave lived his life with such effect, that his memory will be a rock carried on in life by everyone he touched. His spirit is carried on by his children, Paul David London of CA, Katy (Josh Costello)London of Wilmington IL, Ryan (Sara) Ellison of Greenville and Cory (Erin) Ellison of Clarksville, grandchildren ,Carson, Collin and Carter, parents, Edna and George London of Middleville, siblings, Steve (Lori) London of Midland, Luann (Greg) Tandy of Middleville Stuart (Missy) London of Middleville, Diana (John) Servatius of Chicago IL,and an extended family of Gay’s, her mother Mary L. Hull of Ionia, sisters, Diana (David) Kober of Comstock Park and Terri Hull of Ionia and friends. Dave was dearly loved and will be missed. We were blessed to know him. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Shiloh Community Church, Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Greenville. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to Radio Broadcast: Messages from the Lighthouse (checks made payable to Shiloh Community Church) or Spectrum Health Hospice.
